Photo book launch

Singapore, June 16 2016

With the support of 40 photographers of the Facebook group “Asian Passion for Imaging” and Bob Endert of Canon Singapore, a unique photobook has been produced to raise funds for A New Vision’s next Cataract Surgical outreach in September. With the generous help of a few hundred sponsors around the world, the aim is to raise sufficient funds to pay for 500 operations.

Besides the help of the photographers, A New Vision is also thankful to have received the support of two printing companies FotoHub Singapore and Seyacolor in Sri Lanka as sponsors for this exquisite photobook. Both companies print the photo books with the latest High Definition photo printer: the Canon Dreamlabo.

Mr Eric Tan, CEO of FotoHub Singapore presented the photobooks to 2 participating photographers in Singapore, Irving Neil Kwok and Carolyn Strover. At the meeting was also Miss Joey Ng, Senior Marketing Manager of FotoHub Singapore.

Miss Effi Jono, Co-Founder of A New Vision, handed the first photobooks to the employees of PT Samafitro and PT Askom that have generously financed several eye operations. What made this occasion extra special was the fact that these sponsors as well as Miss Effi Jono are all from Indonesia, the country where the next Cataract Surgical outreach will take place in September.
