“A New Vision on Asia” is a photobook of 40 exquisite images captured by 40 talented photographers in Asia. The purpose of this photobook is to support the fund raising for A New Vision’s major cataract surgical outreach this September. This outreach will provide quality cataract surgeries, restoring sights to the poor and marginalised communities in Indonesia who otherwise could not afford the surgeries.

The photo book idea was initiated by Bob Endert together with members of the Facebook group, “Asian Passion For Imaging” which has attracted over 6,700 members who share a common passion in photography. The 40 images included in “A New Vision on Asia” photobook have been carefully selected through a series of voting by the group members as well as a 8 member jury.

Mr Bob Endert, who works for Canon Singapore, had a meeting with A New Vision’s founders, Dr. Sanduk Ruit and Effi Jono. Mr Desmond Yong was the winning photographer in the member category with his photo receiving over 1,100 likes. In the meeting was also Dr Reeta Gurung, Chief Executive Officer of Tilganga Institute of Ophthamology.

“A New Vision on Asia” will be available from 7 July 2016. Donors who made a donation of SGD 100 (before shipping) can opt to receive a copy of this high quality photobook.
